About the Position: The Chilliwack School District is seeking enthusiastic and qualified Casual Administrative Assistants to join our on-call pool. Casual assignments may range from one day to several weeks, covering short-term leaves, peak periods, or special projects. This role involves a variety of clerical and reception duties in a fast-paced school environment. Core Responsibilities: Perform general clerical and reception duties in a school office environmentInput and retrieve data in district and school systems (e.g., attendance, scheduling, student records)Prepare and format documents such as correspondence, newsletters, reports, and memorandaHandle phone, email, and in-person inquiries from staff, students, parents, and the publicAssist with student registration and records managementPerform basic bookkeeping tasks including cash handling, bank deposits, and cost trackingSupport staff with administrative software and office proceduresOrganize and maintain files, supplies, and office materialsAssist in coordinating school events, meetings, and schedulesOperate standard office equipment (e.g., photocopiers, postage meter, PA system)Respond to emergent office or clerical needs as requiredSalary Range: $29.38 per hour Are You the Ideal Candidate?
