Plus, shop a large variety of household essentials, home dcor, beauty products, accessories, and more! We also have a wholesale distribution center specializing in retail and food service. We are currently looking for a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team! Responsibilities Handle, cut, prepare, and wrap meat products for department Follow store procedures for receiving, pricing, stocking, and storing of meat products Merchandising and maintaining displays Assist Store Manager with taking inventory Provide customers with friendly and professional service to meet their needs Prepare special orders Keep the meat shop, tools, and display areas clean and safe at all times per company requirements Comply with all government regulations concerning Health and Safety, Food Safety, and equipment use Undertake other related duties on a periodic basis Equipment and Machinery Experience Slicing machine Manual cutting utensil Band saw Requirements Minimum 1year meat cutting experience; ideally in a highvolume grocery/retail environment Minimum 1year product rotation and merchandising experience Extensive knowledge of the meat industry, especially meat cuts Available to work days, afternoons, evenings, holidays and weekends, as required Ability to work with minimal supervision Standing for extended periods Good hand-eye coordination Able to lift up to 80lbs Team player with a positive attitude Fluency in French and English considered an asset Must be able to work 30 hours per week.
