We are seeking a dedicated and experienced AML & ATF Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join our team and help to ensure operations adhere to all relevant regulations and standards. The AML Regulatory Compliance Analyst will support the Manager, AML & ATF Regulatory Compliance in identifying, assessing, and managing financial crime risks to ensure they are effectively monitored and reported in line with Canadian regulatory requirements and internal policies. The successful candidate will work closely with multiple departments to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards. Responsibilities Act as the primary escalation point for AML/ATF compliance inquiries, including KYC and risk assessment matters. Conduct customer name screening (sanctions, adverse media, politically exposed persons) and resolve alerts promptly. Administer transaction monitoring and investigate unusual activities, performing enhanced due diligence and escalating cases as needed. Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of AML/ATF policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Conduct AML/ATF risk assessments and assist in implementing effective mitigation measures. Assist with internal reviews, audits, and remediation of compliance findings. Contribute to financial crime training initiatives and help promote a strong compliance culture. Prepare and submit regulatory reports and ensure timely submissions to FINTRAC. Monitor regulatory developments and recommend updates to the AML/ATF framework. Stay informed on Canadian AML/ATF regulations and global best practices. Continuously monitor and test the effectiveness of AML/ATF controls and provide regular reporting to senior management on compliance activities and risks. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Finance, Law, Compliance or a related field. Minimum of (3) years of experience in AML compliance or a related risk analysis role. Previous experience in the automotive finance and insurance industry considered a strong asset. Strong knowledge of Canadian AML/ATF regulations and best practices. Ability to strategically solve complex issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills. Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
