Reporting to the Supervisor, Facilities Maintenance & Operations, you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting ICAT and integrated security systems across the facility. This role includes programming and servicing systems such as video surveillance, access control, intrusion and perimeter systems, and associated servers and networks. You will ensure high system availability and reliable performance while promoting a safe, respectful, and secure environment in alignment with Providence Health Cares Mission, Vision, and Values. What You Bring Education, Training and Experience Graduation from a recognized degree or diploma in computer science or information technology Three (3) years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Skills and Abilities Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to deal with others effectively. Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position. Ability to organize work. Ability to operate related equipment. Your Day to Day : Collaborate with hospital IT teams, clinical staff, facilities maintenance, security, project management, and leadership to support site technology operations. Install, configure, and maintain server hardware, software, and infrastructure services in accordance with best practices, including application upgrades and preventative maintenance. Support the implementation and ongoing operation of IT and integrated security systems, including virtual platforms and physical server environments. Perform repairs, servicing, and maintenance on specialized building systems and security technologies. Monitor servers and applications for performance and stability, taking proactive steps to prevent service interruptions. Create, maintain, and update accurate documentation for infrastructure systems, configurations, and processes. Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of software maintenance processes, standards, and procedures. Provide support for data management, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning. Collaborate with internal teams to test, deploy, and implement software patches, updates, and enhancements. Diagnose and troubleshoot network, hardware, software, and security system issues, working with external vendors and contractors as required. Follow established incident management and ticketing procedures, providing timely and accurate documentation and status updates. Perform all duties in compliance with safety practices, organizational policies, and company standards, and carry out other related duties as assigned.
