We offer competitive pay, full benefits, and a work-life balance.What you'll do:Answer and triage phone calls throughout the day.Retrieve faxed or electronic prescribers orders, prescriptions or prescription refill requests.Process medication refills on the pharmacy management software (Kroll).Perform outbound calls to obtain clarifications from clients.Sort, file, and follow-up with pharmacys paperwork to ensure regulatory compliance.Use the pharmacy management software (KROLL) to ensure relevant documents are printed and delivered to clients.Coordinate with other pharmacies to mediate prescription transfers.Support other pharmacy teams, as required.What you bring:Excellent communication skills and customer service skillsDetail oriented and ability to prioritize work assignmentsAbility to adapt to changeExperience working in a fast-paced environment where high attention to detail and accuracy is essentialAbility to work and maneuver quickly and consistently for extended periods of timePositive, cooperative, and team-oriented attitudeHigh School DiplomaExposure to Hospital or Long Term Care PharmacyExperience working in a retail pharmacy environmentPharmacy Technician Diploma from accredited college, but not required****Employment Type:****Full time****Type of Role:****Temporary with Benefits (Fixed Term)Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. recognizes Canada's diversity as a source of national pride and strength.
