OverviewThe Associate Insurance Advisor Home Insurance Specialist plays a key role in supporting and growing the agency by focusing primarily on the sales and service of home insurance products. This role delivers exceptional client experiences, supports profitable growth, and ensures coverage recommendations meet both client needs and underwriting guidelines.What youre responsible for:Sales, service, and profitable growth of home insurance products.Advise clients and recommend appropriate home insurance coverages and policies based on individual needs and risk profiles.Prospect and cross-sell by identifying opportunities for additional products and services that add value to the client.Complete front-line home insurance risk assessments and full client reviews in accordance with underwriting guidelines.Identify risks requiring inspections or re-inspections; may be required to conduct property inspections.Achieve individual and team targets related to client service, sales, quality, and productivity.Support initiatives that build and maintain multi-client relationships.Respond professionally to client questions and concerns, resolve service issues, and escalate complaints when necessary.What to expect:A strong commitment to confidentiality regarding clients personal, financial, and insurance information.Direct interaction with clients and/or service providers via email, text, face-to-face, phone or virtually.You may be required to have access to a personal vehicle, a valid drivers license, and appropriate insurance.Successful candidates will be subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment.Regular office environment. Growth opportunities are provided to those willing to develop skills and advance their career.To be successful:You remain focused, resilient, and optimistic when pursuing goals, effectively managing time to deliver excellent client service.You leverage client information to assess needs, identify sales opportunities, and clearly communicate coverage recommendations.You are committed to continuous learning, improvement, and building long-term client relationships that exceed expectations.You are a collaborative team player who supports the growth and development of colleagues.To join our team:A minimum of two years of sales and service experience, or related business experience, is preferred.Level 2 General Insurance License is required or willing to attain within twelve months.Must meet all provincial licensing and continuing education requirements to maintain licensing status.Knowledge of the local real estate market and processes is an asset.Knowledge of property insurance products is required.Experience with consultative selling techniques is considered a strong asset.Skilled in communication (verbal and written), organization, time management, client service, decision making, problem solving.Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is preferred.Compensation and BenefitsCompetitive Salary: Range - $45,000 - $60,000. Competitive Salary is based on work experience and current licensing at the time of application.
