The Project Accountant is located in Scarborough and typically reports directly to the Regional Controller. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Compare actuals to budget and forecasted costs, update monthly and quarterly job reports. Review and assist with the reconciliation of purchase orders. Assist with monthly job forecast updates and entering productivity data. Code and reconcile payments within JD Edwards. Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices, follow up on client approvals. Prepare documentation to support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities. Demonstrate a selfstarting approach with a high level of accuracy. Perform other duties as assigned. WHAT YOU CAN OFFER Postsecondary education in Accounting or Finance is preferred. 13 years experience in billing, project accounting, or similar accounting roles. SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS Basic understanding of endtoend financial processes. Advanced Excel skills is essential. Experience with JD Edwards is considered an asset. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. The expected salary range for this role is between $58,000 - $75,000 per year. The starting salary will be determined based on several factors such as the successful candidates qualifications, including but not limited to education and experience. Base pay is one component of Black & McDonalds total rewards package.
