Coordinator, Energy & Infrastructure Instrumentation (Fly-In Fly-Out) (MEA01865) Reporting to the Engineering Lead, you will be part of the Energy & Infrastructure Department. You will be responsible for leading process improvement, implementation, design, and reliability initiatives for the different instrumentation and control systems of the mine in multiple fields of expertise such as water management, ore processing, heating systems, ventilation, and more for our underground and surface operations. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagles culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and the environment. What you need to succeed Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another engineering discipline. Experience in automated operations engineering (automation systems, process optimization, controls, or related areas). Active registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) or ability to obtain one quickly. 5-8 years of experience in the instrumentation & control field. Wonderware system knowledge is considered an asset. Solid understanding of underground mining, ore processing systems, construction standards, preventative maintenance and reliability. Note that the official working language at Meadowbank Complex is English. Key Responsibilities Ensure standardization of the programming for the Meadowbank Complex. Evaluate and coordinate work orders with the supervisors to prioritize and plan the work according to the need of the Meadowbank Complex. Take charge of ongoing and future instrumentation projects, including the engineering design (selfperformed or with the help of consultants). Work closely with operations to optimise instrumentation & control systems. Work closely with the OT/IT department to execute work according the company standards. Develop and follow up on initiative implementation plans. Develop and optimise the control strategy & sequence. Support process regulation by troubleshooting and modifying control loops, recommending ideas or new technology and promoting best practices. Analyse failures and propose solutions. Act as gate keeper for all new system purchases to ensure respect of specifications and optimal integration. Develop the team through coaching and training. Support the supervisor in the identification of targets and budget needs. Your Work Schedule Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest. Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee.
