We want you to feel valued and welcomed within our diverse, inclusive team, and heres how we do it:BenefitsExtended Benefits for You and Your FamilyLife Insurance, Short-term and Long-term Disability InsuranceEducation and Savings Plans, RRSP matchingHealth and Wellness programEmployee & Family Assistance ProgramGenerous Employee Perks and DiscountsCareer Development Support & Promote-From-Within Culture to enhance your expertise and maximize your career journeyResponsibilitiesLead and inspire your team to deliver exceptional service to Lordco stores and customers across both Kelowna distribution centersManage Warehouse staff through your direct reports; including recruitment, coaching, development, scheduling, evaluations, and disciplineInitiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and proceduresEnsure both DCs are laid out for efficient space utilizationSupport and guide the Inbound team to ensure all received goods are properly marked, located, and safeguardedOversee daily cycle counts and ensure inventory adjustments are completed on scheduleEnsure all orders are picked, consolidated, packed, and shipped accurately and on time to meet daily delivery schedulesProvide Logistics with accurate skid counts, carton counts, and DIMs for each shipmentEnsure no product leaves the DC without proper paperworkOversee daily cleaning, organization, security and maintain daily to-do lists for warehouse teamsTrack KPIs and submit detailed month-end reporting to the Director of DistributionChampion workplace safety, ensuring full compliance with WorkSafe BC and government regulations; including thorough, timely accident investigationsStandardsReceive all items accurately and report discrepancies within two business daysMaintain a team average picking speed of 40 lines/hr or betterKeep overall inventory variance at 90% or betterEnsure Quick Pick / Special Orders are ready within 15 minutes of droppingAchieve 97% on-time shipment for store ordersMaintain Receiving speed of 150 lines/hr or betterMaintain Put Away speed of 35 lines/hr or betterEnsure goods and returns are received properly within 1 business dayMaintain accurate daily MAM location updatesGoals and ObjectivesCollaborate with DC Services to slot product to shelf level by August 31, 2026Remove process waste to achieve 10% efficiency improvement by August 31, 2026Develop leadership capabilities within your direct reports and their teamsDocument SOPs and track departmental training to ensure full coverage of skill setsImplement 5S tools, including shadow boards and clearly marked functional areasMaintain ongoing compliance with WorkSafe and TDG regulations (accurate manifests, labelling, placards)Ideal QualificationsDegree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or equivalent experience5+ years of warehouse management experienceStrong expertise in warehouse operations, procedures, and best practicesExperience with RF scanners, conveyor systems, and automotive parts is an assetKnowledge, Abilities & SkillsA collaborative leader who supports a strong team culture and adaptable work environmentProven ability to mentor and develop future leadersStrong understanding of warehousing KPIs and continuous improvement methodologiesSkilled in Microsoft Office, Warehouse Management Systems, and database toolsExcellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsAt Lordco Auto Parts, we are committed to fostering a culture that celebrates diversity, promotes equity, and prioritizes inclusion in every aspect of our organization.
