OverviewJob Title: Heavy Duty Cleaner Fulltime, Parttime, ContractLocation: Various Locations within Greater Vancouver AreaSchedule: TBD, based on business requirements.Minimum Rate: $17.85 and up, TBDAbout the Role:Were looking for reliable, conscientious individuals with who take pride in shiny clean spaces and to support our client by providing an essential service keeping their workforce safe.If you understand the importance of Health & Safety, sanitation and cleanliness, we want to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesDisinfecting all high touch point areasCleaning building common areas, hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, kitchen etc.Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basisSpot cleaning walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches and window sills, door glassScrubbing, mopping, heavy sweeping, cleaning of light fixtures and replacing bulbs, and general maintenance duties confined under the Janitorial IndustryAbility to use and operate industrial and or heavy cleaning machines and equipment; some are but not limited to: scrubbing and sweeping machines, carpet extractors, leaf blowers, pressure washers etc.Enhanced cleaning as per work orders when requested by clientsAdditional tasks assigned by ManagerExterior cleaning maybe required.Valid Drivers license and clean drivers abstract maybe required.QualificationsExperience with heavy cleaning machinery is preferredMotivation and a willingness to work + learnStrong time management skills to ensure all work is completed by the end of shiftAbility to take initiative to determine and complete necessary tasks, even with minimal supervisionPhysically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routineBe eligible to obtain applicable security clearance(s)Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an assetWe offerOpportunities for growth & employee developmentA flexible and positive team environmentAbout AlpineAlpine has grown to become one of Canadas leading janitorial and building maintenance service providers to over 2000 distinct facilities across Canada.
