We are currently looking for upcoming and recent Diagnostic Medical Sonography graduates who are, or soon will be, CRGS certified to join our expanding outpatient clinic practice. As an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer), youll use the latest ultrasound technology to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging, all while keeping patients comfortable and informed. From explaining procedures and positioning patients to adjusting equipment and capturing optimal images, your technical and interpersonal skills will directly support safe, accurate diagnoses. Youll work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals, analyze images, maintain precise records, and make a meaningful impact on patient care every day. What Youll Be Doing Perform Ultrasound Exams: Conduct routine and specialized sonography imaging under the direction of Radiologists and referring Physicians, while adhering to departmental protocols and guidelines. Provide Compassionate Care: Explain exams and procedures, address questions, ease concerns, and help patients feel comfortable. Collaborate with Clinic Teams: Partner with radiologists and other teams to help deliver a seamless and thoughtful experience. Expand Expertise: Engage in ongoing professional development to refine existing skills, build new competencies, and specialize in additional modalities such as Interventional, MSK, Breast and more. Ensure Compliance: Follow privacy, confidentiality, safety, and other regulatory requirements. Monitor and Troubleshoot Systems: Track ultrasound equipment performance, document findings, and resolve basic issues. Prepare and Maintain Work Areas: Prepare and stock exam rooms for exams and procedures; report low inventory as needed. What Were Looking For Professional Membership: Active membership with Sonography Canada as a Certified Registered Generalist Sonographer. Ultrasound Experience: Clinical competency as a sonographer, with an interest in refining and expanding skills. A Commitment to Learning and Growth: Motivation to expand expertise as a Generalist Ultrasound Technologist and develop skills in advanced practice areas such as MSK, OB/GYN, vascular and cardiac exams, and interventional procedures. Additional Information Position Types: We offer fulltime, parttime, and casual roles, allowing you to choose the option that best fits your lifestyle, schedule, and career goals. Consistent Schedules: Enjoy a steady Monday to Friday shift, 8:00 AM4:15 PM. Parttime team members work either three or four fixed days per week, depending on their FTE, with consistent days off that dont vary week to week. Casual team members are scheduled based on availability and operational needs. Work Location: Clinic assignments will be discussed during the interview process.
