Front Desk and Office Coordinator (Contract) The Eatery, 5050 Satellite Dr, Mississauga, ON L4W 5A1, Canada Overview ERCO Worldwide has operated for over 100 years, focused on the production and supply of inorganic products along with technology for the production of chlorine dioxide. ERCOs major business areas include sodium chlorate, chlor-alkali products, sodium chlorite, and chlorine dioxide technology. The ERCO business serves key customer segments including pulp and paper, food, energy, agriculture, water treatment, airport de-icing, fertilizers and specialty chemicals. The Front Desk and Office Coordinator will be a brand ambassador and the first point of contact for ERCO Worldwide at the Corporate Office and other channels of communication. The position provides exceptional customer service and covers front-desk operations, office administration, mail and courier shipping, event coordination, vendor liaison, and invoice processing as assigned. Responsibilities Reception Duties: Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately. Safety orientations with all visitors to the office and acting as ERCO's Emergency Contact with the landlord, Triovest. Professionally respond to all incoming calls, emails or inquiries and triage to the appropriate department. Office Supplies Management: Ordering and managing office supplies inventory, with lifting requirements between 5 kg and 10 kg. Back up for shipments of spare parts. Conduct routine cleanliness checks of common areas (lunchroom, washroom, hallways, meeting rooms, etc.). Maintain common kitchen area and unloading dishwashers on each floor; support catering requirements and ensure correct cost centres are provided to Finance. Facilities Management: Organize, distribute and collect mail and courier shipments daily (outbound and inbound). Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (logbook, visitor badges). Liaise with vendors and process invoices. Other Duties: Maintain filing systems and assist with scheduling meetings; manage on-floor staff information screens; perform general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing. The Person A College Diploma in Business or related field is required; a Bachelors degree is preferred. 1-3 years of proven work experience in Customer Service or front-desk duties. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Accuracy and attention to detail; ability to plan, prioritize and manage time.
