CLOSING DATE:February 6, 2026# **Opportunity**We are seeking an experienced risk professional to join our team and play a key role in supporting AIMCos Operational Risk Management Program, with a focus on Operational Resilience. As the Operational Risk Manager, you will lead the ongoing development of our Operational Resilience Program by identifying, assessing and planning for risks that could disrupt critical operations. This role will require collaboration with all divisions across AIMCo with a focus on developing a collaborative team dynamic with key operational groups. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of operational risk, understands operational resilience, and brings hands-on experience with industry best practices. Success in this role requires thriving in a dynamic environment and collaborating as part of a collegial, communicative team. **NOTE: Posting will close on Thursday, February 5th 2026 at 11:59pm MST**# **Responsibilities Include:*** Support AIMCos Business Continuity Program across all business lines and global operating geographies, including policy and governance development and review* Lead, improve and coordinate data collection and organizational change monitoring initiatives (Business Impact Analysis, risk assessments, etc.)* Work with key departments and regional offices to develop, update, and test response protocols and plans, conduct exercises, track post-incident assessments, and maintain lessons learned registers* Liaise and support first line component programs (Facilities, Disaster Recovery, Travel, Crisis Management, etc.) to ensure a coordinated, planned and integrated approach to Business Continuity* Provide support during an active response, including engaging and supporting the Crisis Management Team and ERM* Support the testing and improvement of critical Business Continuity tools and strategies* Assist in the development and delivery of training, awareness materials as well as exercise development and delivery* Develop new/existing dashboards, reports and databases* Engage with industry peers, and proactively support the identification or potential/upcoming threats and treatment options* Support the collection, validation, and reporting of resilience Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)* Support the other enterprise and operational risk programs (such as operational loss collection, third party risk management, emerging risk assessments), as needed* Assist and support Enterprise Risk Management as needed by developing and updating relevant reports and presentations* Some travel, both domestic and international, and on-call availability are required# **Our Ideal Candidate Qualifications:*** Bachelors or masters degree in Commerce, Finance or another related field supplemented by designations in business continuity or other related Operational Risk/Resilience certifications* 5+ years of direct Operational Resilience/Business Continuity/Operational Risk-related experience in a financial/investment related work environment* Experience with other operational risk programs, including Third Party Risk Management, is an asset.* Well-established interpersonal relationship-building skills and an ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders* Highly motivated team player with a proven ability to manage several different priorities at one time, including under tight timelines* Demonstrates a strong commitment to AIMCos core values of excellence, transparency, humility, integrity, and collaboration, and inspiring the same in others# **Key Knowledge and Skills*** Working knowledge of industry standards and best practices relating to Operational Resilience/ Business Continuity and Third Party (i.e. ISO 22031, OSFI E-21 and OSFI B-10)* Experience in conducting a Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and/or managing related data sets* Experience in collaboratively developing and socializing governance materials (Plans, Guidelines, Standards and Policies, etc.)* Experience with data/process automation tools (Power Automate, etc.)* Experience and ability to leverage efficiencies using Artificial Intelligence* Strong written and verbal communication skills* Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills* Excellent presentation skills and ability to tailor technical matters to respective audiences* Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 Environment with a focus on Excel and dashboarding tools (Power BI, etc.)**#LI-MC1**# **Next Steps**We are excited to meet you.
