The Caf Supervisor & Lead Barista will oversee the daily operations of Caf 1967, located in the lobby of the Sandman Signature Winnipeg Airport Hotel & Suites. Open each morning to serve hotel guests, the caf requires team members who are personable, professional, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will project a positive image of the caf, respond effectively to guest needs and special requests, and act as a brand ambassador by consistently providing a highquality, memorable experience for all guests. DUTIES: Caf Operations: Oversee all aspects of daily caf operations, including opening and closing procedures, food and beverage preparation, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Beverage Preparation: Craft a range of highquality specialty coffee drinks and light food offerings with consistency and efficiency. Inventory & Ordering: Maintain accurate inventory levels, place regular supply orders, and ensure proper stock rotation and waste reduction. Staff Oversight: Manage scheduling and daily coordination for yourself and one additional team member, always ensuring coverage and high service standards. Guest Experience: Provide courteous, professional service to all guests, creating positive and efficient customer experience aligned with the hotels brand. POS & Cash Handling: Operate the pointofsale system, manage cash and credit transactions, and complete endofday reconciliation. Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining sanitation standards and food handling procedures. Coordination: Communicate regularly with hotel leadership to ensure alignment with guest service expectations and operational goals.
