Job Description What''s the opportunity? You will contribute to the strategic business priorities of Commercial Banking Operations by leading and supporting a team of Commercial Credit Advisors (CCA) in the credit renewal process and adjudication of credit origination. Specializing in the Agriculture segment, your team will effectively partner and support Commercial Relationship Managers and be accountable for credit renewals, increases at renewal, reviewing and establishing the customer''s Borrower Risk Rating (BRR) and ensuring credit structures adequately mitigate the respective credit risks. Through effective coaching, leadership, and talent management you will drive team productivity and efficiency. What will you do? Lead and coach a team of CCA''son credit analysis and structuring to enhance credit quality and client experience Support Commercial Relationship Managers (RM) in the credit process Focus on sound risk management, process efficiency, and process alignment specifically for credit renewals and adjudication for direct reports Accountable for credit renewals, including increases at renewal, reviewing and establishing the client''s risk rating (BRR), and ensuring appropriate credit structures Adjudicate transaction requests within Delegated Lending Authorities using sound judgment and employing a balanced approach to growth and portfolio quality Follow established coaching routines to drive high performance, enhance client experience and ensure work volumes meet established service level agreements Partner effectively to resolve escalations, balancing credit risk mitigation and client experience What do you need to succeed? Must-have 3+ years experience in Commercial lending/credit and a deep expertise in Commercial lending guidelines and policies Solid knowledge of commercial credit analysis and adjudication Specific knowledge of lending within the Agriculture industry Strong leadership capabilities Professional oral and written communication and presentation skills Ability to collaborate and effectively partner with appropriate stakeholders Nice-to-have People management experience Prior experience as a Small Business/Commercial Relationship Manager, Commercial Financing Specialist, and/or Commercial Credit Advisor Experience using SYNERGY, NEWTON, and MS Office (Excel, Power Point, etc) Bilingual in French and English What''s in it for you?
