Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for the full recruiting cycle, managing multiple roles across departments, including sourcing, recruiting, and hiring of mid-to executive level qualified professionals for technical and non-technical positions including SLT. The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner works with the business to deliver strategic talent sourcing initiatives, provide market insights and coaching to hiring managers and teams, as well as ensuring alignment for efficient and exceptional hiring. The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for end-to-end recruitment, reporting & analytics from sourcing to onboarding with a direct link to our Meridian for Good strategy and corporate goals. Key Responsibilities: CLIENT CONSULTATION Provides counsel to hiring managers on the recruitment process including holding them accountable for inclusive hiring techniques and processes. Proactive outreach with senior leaders, other members of leadership to outline the organization''s P&C talent goals, identify opportunities to improve processes, and provide recommendations to improve time to hire and talent quality. Develops strong business relationships with clients including an understanding of their business and talent needs Participates in the hiring process, including: proactively building talent pipelines, creating and conducting phone screens, assessing skills and competencies, and advises throughout the interview process up to and including time of offer letter. Responsible for developing and/or conducting internal training sessions for hiring manager on recruitment processes and strategies. Partners with the HR Business Partners to anticipate hiring needs and requirements and builds proactive sourcing strategies and plans. Works closely with compensation to understand labour market insights, position grade levels and shares market intel to reevaluate positions to align with the market. SOURCING & RECRUITMENT MARKETING Collaborate with partners to craft discipline-specific brand campaigns that articulate career opportunities and show casing Meridian as an employer of choice to the external market. Proactively sources passive market talent, influencing candidates by actively selling features of the organization''s culture, programs and employee experience. Utilizes tools and insights to create sourcing pipelines within LI- creating a sourcing outreach strategy- tracking ROI of passive outreaches (click through rate, open rate, response rate and apply rate). Devises and executes on innovative marketing strategies to attract both internal and external talent contributing to the growth of talent both inside and outside of the organization. STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS Build relationships with diverse centres of influence in alignment with Meridian''s brand (e.g., diversity organizations, college/universities) building awareness of Meridian as an employer resulting in talent pipelines. Attends and represents Meridian at key recruitment events to help strengthen the relationship with key partners and enhance the talent pipeline with diverse candidates. OPERATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS Partners with HR Operations team, to ensure an optimal onboarding experience for employees from offer to new hire documentation to onboarding. In partnership with the hiring manager, prepares accurate and engaging internal/external job postings, manages the internal/external job posting sites, ensures an engaging candidate experience consistent with our brand, while ensuring all necessary approval documentation is in place. Acts as a liaison between Meridian and various Agencies/Search Firms. Participates in Project Initiatives such as: hiring sprints, interview guides, job posting templates, pipeline strategies, brand awareness, job evaluation committee. Identifies and recommends process improvements to the Director, Talent Acquisition to continually enhance the candidate experience. REPORTING & ANALYTICS Manages Recruitment reporting & metrics, including: vacancy reports, quarterly scorecards etc. Interprets recruitment data to provide insights and updates to partners, informing recruitment strategies/areas of opportunity/trends etc. Provides insights and market labour updates to partners. Helping to inform and develop hiring plans. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems. Strong knowledge and experience with LinkedIn Recruiter. Ability to balance both tactical (operational) and strategic accountabilities. Personable, motivated, resourceful, and an excellent team player. Ability to work independently, selfdirected, with high learning agility. Strong relationship builder with both candidates and internal business partners. Strong time management, organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy. Understanding of employment legislation as it applies to recruitment. Able to travel and represent Meridian at external events. Education, Work Experience, and Professional Designations/Certifications: Bachelor''s degree or certification in HR, plus a minimum of 7 years progressive HR experience, ideally in a senior talent acquisition role. Proven experience using behavioral and situational interviewing techniques, candidate testing and reference checking systems/services. Previous experiencing recruiting for technical and non-technical roles at a senior level. Strong reporting and Analytics background ability transform raw metrics into a story to present back to the business. Experience interacting with and sourcing Senior level leaders preparing market intel and data to inform recruitment strategies. Experienced in creating and implementing innovative talent sourcing strategies. This role represents an existing vacancy. Internal candidates are being considered as part of our standard process. Salary Range: CAD$68,800.00to$103,200.00annually. Compensation for this role is based on a combination of skills, experience, and internal equity. Candidates with stronger alignment to the role''s requirements may be placed higher within the range.
