We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Developer with a specialized focus on Education Cloud to join our team for a 6-month contract. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building student-centric solutions and can bridge the gap between complex technical requirements and seamless user experiences. While this is a primarily remote position, you should be within commuting distance of Oakville for occasional strategy sessions and team meetings. Key Responsibilities: Custom Development: Design, code, and implement scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce. Education Cloud Optimization: Configure and customize Education Data Architecture (EDA) and Admissions/Recruitment modules to streamline the student lifecycle. Integrations: Build and maintain secure integrations between Salesforce and third-party academic systems (SIS, LMS, etc.). Declarative Solutions: Leverage Flows and Process Builder (where applicable) to automate complex business logic without over-engineering.. Collaboration: Participate in sprint planning and technical reviews, providing expertise on Education Cloud best practices. What You Bring: 3+ years of Salesforce Development experience, with at least one significant project involving Salesforce Education Cloud. Proficiency in Apex, LWC, SOQL, and REST/SOAP APIs. Salesforce Platform Developer I (PDI) is required; Education Cloud Consultant certification is a major asset. Strong ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to travel to our Oakville office as needed for key milestones.
