Team Leads act as a liaison between direct support staff and the Supervisor. RESPONSIBILITIES Providing Support to Staff via training, coaching and feedback to ensure we provide the highest quality supports and care to those we support. Administrative responsibilities including documentation, management of finances, and ensuring compliance with company policies/procedures and licensing requirements. This position also includes coordinating health and safety of individuals through medical appointments, guardian engagement, and at-home medical care. Team Leads share their experience and knowledge to facilitate best practice principles are engaged by all staff. QUALIFICATIONS Education in Disability Services or another related field is preferred Valid Adult First Aid with CPR Level C is required Personal Vehicle, Valid Driver''s License, Clean Drivers Abstract and 2 Million Dollar Liability Insurance is required Clear Police Information Check is required Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field is required Supervisory experience is preferred Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required Computer skills are required Ability to manage conflict and build teamwork is essential for this role Candidates with experience with dementia will be given preference LOCATION; HOME 16 HOURS OF WORK Mon - Fri 12:00PM - 7:30PM
