Job Summary Brooks Asphalt and Aggregates Ltd., located in Brooks, Alberta has been servicing the Southern Alberta Region for over 45 years. We are seeking a experienced, skilled Labourers, Skid Steer Operators, Excavator Operators, Dozer Operators and Grader Operators to join our construction and heavy equipment team. The ideal candidates will have experience in either dirt works, road building, or underground installation and repair, with a strong understanding of construction site safety and equipment maintenance. This roles involve working on various projects, including operating a variety of tools and equipment for the purposes of excavation, grading, and material handling, contributing to the successful completion of construction projects with efficiency and precision. Duties Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Assist with site preparation, and material movement across construction sites. Perform minor mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance on machinery as needed. Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for all team members. Collaborate with project managers and other crew members to meet project deadlines and specifications. Utilize mechanical knowledge for equipment operation and troubleshooting to maximize productivity. Experience Proven experience in the road-building and maintenance construction industry. Familiarity with either skid steer, excavator, dozer or grader operation, is highly required. Strong mechanical skills with the ability to perform basic maintenance on heavy equipment. Prior work in construction environments involving heavy equipment operation is required.
