Body Shop Skilled Worker (Welding Experience Required) Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Saturday Pay: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience) Job Description We are a busy and well-established automotive body shop looking for a skilled Body Shop Technician with strong welding experience to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and has hands-on experience with structural and cosmetic vehicle repairs. Key Responsibilities Perform welding and metal fabrication (MIG welding required; TIG a plus) Repair and replace vehicle panels, frames, and structural components Carry out body repairs including straightening, cutting, grinding, and fitting Read and interpret repair orders and measurements accurately Ensure repairs meet safety and quality standards Maintain a clean and safe work environment Requirements Proven experience as a body shop technician or auto body repair worker Strong welding skills (automotive welding experience required) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality repairs Own basic tools (preferred but not mandatory) Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused What We Offer Competitive pay based on skill and experience Steady workload in a busy shop Supportive team environment Long-term employment for the right candidate Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.75-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Work Location: In person
