Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cashier Supervisor to oversee daily front-end operations and supervise cashier staff in a busy retail environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating cashier activities, ensuring accurate cash handling, maintaining customer service standards, and supporting store operations. This role focuses on front-line supervision, staff training, and smooth day-to-day operations to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers. Duties Supervise and coordinate cashier staff to ensure efficient checkout operations Assign daily duties and establish work schedules for cashier team Oversee cash handling procedures, including balancing registers and resolving discrepancies Train and coach staff on POS systems, customer service standards, and store procedures Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluation of cashier staff Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and service issues in a professional manner Ensure compliance with store policies, safety standards, and operational procedures Monitor front-end activities and report operational issues to management Support inventory control and merchandise flow at the front-end as required Experience Previous experience as a cashier supervisor or senior cashier in a retail environment Strong knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures Demonstrated ability to supervise, train, and support front-line staff Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment Bilingual abilities (English/Mandarin) are considered an asset Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $19.75 per hour Expected hours: 35 48 per week Work Location: In person
