About this opportunity CBI Health''s Bay Medical is looking for a candidate who is a quick learner and highly organized, with excellent computer skills, to work as an Administrative Assistant supporting the reception desk at our Scarborough clinic. Reporting to the Manager of Operations, this is a full-time temporary position on a fixed term of one year. Starting salary: $40,000 per year Take an inside look at what you''ll do each day Answer phones and direct callers accordingly or address any queries Retrieve messages general mailbox Greet claimants and visitors to the office Receive couriers and distribute appropriately (date stamp all incoming documentation) Send outgoing mail and couriers Contact transportation company at the end of an assessment Acquire signatures on Consent Forms and review photo ID prior to an assessment Maintain Assessment Log (time in and time out) Chaperoning assessments Maintaining examination rooms and public areas Assessment Appointment Confirmations and follow up on Consent Forms Sending Appointment Letters and Notices Conducting Reminder Calls for Appointments Sending Medical Documentation to Assessors Other administrative support, as required What you need to be successful Excellent telephone manner Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat/Reader Ability to communicate well in English by phone and email Strong organizational and prioritizing skills and effective time management skills required Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Accuracy and attention to detail in tasks Knowledge of the rehabilitation and independent medical sector an asset, but not required What CBI Health offers you Continuous learning and skills development, including management opportunities Competitive compensation About us For millions of Canadians, CBI Health is where better begins.
