Role Overview: The Health Care Aide (PCA) is a vital member of Golden Home Caregivers Corp. reporting directly to the Care Manager. The HCA provides hands-on personal care and support to clients, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. They are also responsible for monitoring clients'' conditions and promptly reporting any changes to the Care Manager. This role includes medication assistance in accordance with company policy while upholding professional standards and always respecting the dignity, privacy, and autonomy of each client. About the Program: GHCC offers compassionate, in-home care services for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those needing support with daily living tasks. Our team works closely with families to deliver personalized, high-quality care all in the comfort and familiarity of the client''s own home. Qualifications and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Active registration with the College of LPNs and HCA and valid practice permit is required Valid driver''s license and access to a vehicle are required Experience: Experience in a home care setting or related health care facility is an asset. Familiarity with caring for seniors or clients with complex care needs is a plus. Experience in providing companionship or support to individuals is preferred.
