Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising and stocking practices Provide knowledgeable assistance on product details, including answering questions about grocery items or retail products Use phone etiquette skills to answer inquiries professionally and direct customers appropriately Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, assisting with stocking tasks, and organizing backroom storage Qualifications Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices Ability to perform cashiering duties efficiently while maintaining excellent phone etiquette and professionalism Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 40 per week Work Location: In person
