POSTING DATE: February 3, 2026 CLOSING DATE: February 13, 2026 JOB NUMBER: POSITION TYPE: Non-Permanent, short-Term (1 Year Contract) LOCATION: Athabasca Area, Alberta Alberta-Pacific Forest Industries Inc. (Al-Pac) is seeking a Site Services Technician for the Maintenance & Technical Services Unit to work out of our mill site in Athabasca, Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the mill site; Janitorial, Plumbing, Buildings, Grounds, HVAC and Road maintenance. Supporting all mill areas will small site repairs Implementing and administering site maintenance. Who Are We? Al-Pac is the largest single-line kraft pulp producer in North America. Role Responsibilities Carry out maintenance task for HVAC including cleaning and filter changes. Site snow clearing and removal, grass cutting, weed control, fencing, roof maintenance and cleaning, lighting. Carry out simple maintenance and repair tasks, following detailed instructions and working with no supervision to complete the allocated tasks. Operating of mobile equipment. Site Maintenance during annual maintenance shutdowns, rental, placement and setup of lunch and wash mobile trailers complete with water, sewer and heating required. Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization''s safety policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards. Follow mandatory procedures to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct. Ensuring all safety mandatory documentation is completed, hazard assessments are preformed including all required learning sign offs. Working always following safety protocols and work space clear and hazards are controlled. Role Requirements High School diploma. Valid driver''s license with a clean driver''s abstract. Comfortable working in extreme environments such as heat, cold, dust, and heights. Ability to lift heavy objects. HVAC experience an asset. Good communication skills. Self-motivated individual who works well in a team environment. Other Ability to prioritize, manage time well, multitask and troubleshoot. Ability to perform carpentry work; related experience is considered an asset. Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills are also essential because document control specialists regularly communicate with internal and external business partners. Ability to work independently is a must. Accuracy in processing. Knowledge and skill in meeting deadlines with multiple duties and tasks. Ability to work under pressure, changing priorities, deadlines, and adapt to change. What We Offer A competitive annual salary including a company-paid pension at 7% and matching RRSP up to 3%.
