Letter (s) on auto insurance letterhead adding up to 3 years of driving history with trucks weighing 11,000kg or more Valid D drivers licence Clean driving record Experience with power tools and physical/manual work Familiarity and prior experience with tying and securing all types of loads, as well as all aspects of safe driving practices Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs Familiar with downtown Toronto and GTA Good communication skills & listening skills Team player Plus, but not required: 0-8 Ton Crane Certificate Previous forklift experience Job description Deliver and pick up materials at various locations with company trucks Load/offload company truck and vendor trucks using truck crane, forklift and by hand Daily vehicle inspections and ensure truck maintenance is kept up to date Check accuracy and stability of truck load Complete various tasks around the shop when not on the road Drivers will not always be on the road and will be required to participate in the shop as a shop laborer. This will include cleaning, organizing, working in the paint booth, grinding, cutting materials and so on.
