Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and strong customer service skills are essential. The Server will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests while supporting the overall operations of the restaurant. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, professional service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards Assist with food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times Follow proper food handling procedures and uphold sanitation protocols to ensure food safety Skills Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Experience with POS systems, is highly desirable Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for cashiering and bill splitting purposes Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred but not required; hospitality background is a plus Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and revenue Good communication skills to interact clearly with guests and team members Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This position offers an engaging work environment where teamwork, hospitality, and excellent service are valued.
