Duties Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including orthodontics and pediatrics Take dental radiographs Manage patient records efficiently using Abeldent software systems Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive measures Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and managing patient check-in/check-out processes as a dental receptionist when needed Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns or questions throughout their visit Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed and assist with inventory management of dental supplies Skills Proficiency in dental assisting with a strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical procedures Experience with Abeldent practice management software system Knowledge of general dentistry procedures Ability to work effectively as part of a team while independently managing multiple responsibilities Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with patients of all ages, including children Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure compliance with safety standards and clinic protocols This role is ideal for a dedicated dental professional looking to advance their career in a supportive environment that values expertise, professionalism, and compassionate patient care.
