Varsity Men''s Volleyball Inter-Collegiate Head Coach Competition Number 26-SSAA-01 Overview St. Clair College competes in the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA). This position encompasses leading the Men''s Volleyball program. St. Clair College maintains competitive status in this association and has the potential of competing in post-season play and national championships. Duties Under the general supervision of the Director, Athletics & Recreation, along with the Athletic Officer, the incumbent will select, train, and coach the team as well as recruit athletes both from eligible students already enrolled at the college and from potential students from outside the college. Activities will include monitoring academic progress, fundraising (if required), some administrative duties relating to travel, accommodation, and meals. The coach assists in the development of schedules for practices, exhibition and league games, and tournaments. Qualifications Successful applicants should possess relevant volleyball coaching experience at the high school, club, or post-secondary levels. N.C.C.P. Performance Level certification or equivalent coaching credentials are recommended and will be given preference. Candidates must be prepared for flexible hours regarding travel and game times for various coaching activities. Remuneration Salary will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience level of the successful candidate. Successful candidates will be compensated for all approved expenses inside of coaching duties. All coaches are hired on a part-time basis with no regular benefits.
