Learn about us: Duties: Perform phlebotomy procedures safely and accurately, ensuring proper specimen collection and handling. Conduct ear flushing, foot care, and wound management services in accordance with clinical best practices. Carry out comprehensive toetohead assessments to support holistic client care and early identification of health concerns. Monitor clients with diabetes using continuous glucose monitoring systems and traditional blood glucose testing. Administer injections, including specialized treatments such as Sublocade, following established protocols. Deliver pointofcare testing and support screening initiatives, including STBBI testing. Provide education to clients and community members through public speaking, presentations, and oneonone teaching. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a supportive and clientcentered environment. Engage effectively with seniors, unhoused individuals, and clients experiencing mental health challenges, demonstrating empathy and professionalism. Safely handle and work with Hepatitis C blood products and support clients undergoing related care. Apply strong deescalation skills to maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff. Utilize AADL (Alberta Aids to Daily Living) processes and documentation to support clients in accessing appropriate equipment and services. Participate in ongoing training and skill development, demonstrating enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional growth. Schedule: 9AM-5PM Monday to Friday with some weekends to cover gaps and injections Qualifications & Experience: Must be a licensed practical nurse (LPN) in Alberta Must have minimum 2 years Professional experience in the related role as a licensed LPN in Canada Active CPR Certification *All offers of employment for this position are conditional upon satisfactory background check and reference check, which may include criminal record check and/or educational and employment verification.
