Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Pipelayer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing underground pipelines, ensuring safety and precision throughout all phases of the project. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, with an emphasis on safety and quality workmanship. Responsibilities Lay, assemble, and repair underground pipelines using appropriate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers Operate heavy machinery including to facilitate pipeline installation Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine pipeline routes and specifications Perform excavation activities with excavators, skid steers to prepare trenches for pipeline installation Conduct inspections of installed pipelines for leaks or defects and perform necessary adjustments or repairs Maintain a clean work environment by following safety protocols and proper handling of tools and equipment Qualifications Proven experience as a Pipelayer or similar role in construction or utility installation projects Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance Proficiency in operating excavators, skid steers, rigging gear, welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and pipeline installation Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions precisely Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions This position offers an opportunity to contribute to essential infrastructure projects while working in a dynamic team environment.
