Mobile Parts Inc. is a major supplier of mobile equipment parts and specially fitted utility vehicles designed to carry people and materials in mining environments. We are proudly located in Sudbury, Ontario and supply parts and products to the mining industry in multiple countries worldwide We are looking for an ambitious and team-oriented individual to join our team The Role: We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. The incumbent will provide hands-on leadership to our warehouse employees by training, monitoring, and evaluating assigned personnel and by actively leading the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives. Key Responsibilities: Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements. Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments. Delivers supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items. Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements. Maintains inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data. Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications. Accomplishes warehouse and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience College diploma or equivalent industry experience 3+ years in warehousing or equipment parts industry Previous experience in Health & Safety enforcement is an asset. Good communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders and other supporting teams at all levels of the organization Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including the ability to create/manage spreadsheets in MS Excel Knowledge of ERP systems, inventory databases and warehouse management Thorough and meticulous attention to detail Ability to work effectively under pressure Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $29.00-$34.00 per hour Benefits: Extended health care RRSP match Work Location: In person
