You would be working with a young energetic team, in a studio setting, working thru design, plans, details, elevations, construction documentation, specifications, 3D modeling, perspectives and work with consultants and staff. You will become a well-balanced individual who will gain experience in all architectural processes and construction types. The studio in our firm is a dynamic open environment that offers mentorship and support. You will work directly with Architects, Engineers and technologists as part of an integrated multidisciplinary project team at all stages, from concept design to completion. The successful candidate will have an Architectural Technologist and Technician diploma from an accredited college. They require to be experienced in using Revit, AutoCAD, Office and have strong technical skills related directly to building construction, materials, and methods of construction. You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Qualifications The candidate must possess degree or diploma as an architectural technologist or technician from an accredited college or university.Highly proficient in RevitMinimum 2 years experience is an asset.Possess a full understanding of building science, construction materials, construction methods and Architectural detailing.Understanding of drawing principles and standardsDemonstrates a solid understanding of the Ontario Building Code (OBC) and National Building Code (NBC).Strong written and verbal communication skillsComfortable working directly with clients and consultantsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projectsValid drivers license and ability to attend work sitesExperience with Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)A team player who values collaboration, accountability, and quality
