The ClientA global banking organization, is seeking a Payroll & HR Operations Specialist to support payroll delivery, benefits administration, and core HR operations. Base Salary: CAD $70,000 to $85,000.What you will achieve in the rolePayroll and BenefitsProcess payroll accurately and on time in accordance with federal and provincial regulationsAdminister employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, and retirement plans.Ensure compliance with payroll taxation, deductions, and statutory requirements across Canada.Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, deductions, time records, and benefits.Prepare payroll and benefits reporting for Finance, Senior Management, and audit purposes.HR Operations and ComplianceOversee HR operations relating to new and existing hires, including maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures and initiatives to foster continuous improvement.Support the Head of Human Resources in developing and executing HR strategies and initiatives.Contribute in developing HR metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.What you will bring to the role5 to 8 years experience in processing payroll and benefits in banking.Bachelor's degree in business or accounting or a related field.Strong knowledge of taxation laws in provinces across Canada.Experience in processing taxation for expatriate employees would be a big asset.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulae, vlookup, xlookup, etc.).Experience using ADP payroll software.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detailEthical integrity to manage confidential financial information.Only those who are qualified will be contacted.This posting is for an existing vacancy.All applications are reviewed by the recruitment team.AI is used to assist in screening and assessment.
