Role Overview: Operating across North America, we specialize in the decking and roofing industry with a primary focus on business-to-business partnerships. We serve as a key supplier to a wide network of distributors and retailers, ensuring high-quality materials reach the broader market.To support this growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented professional to facilitate the order-to-delivery process. This role is the critical link between our customers and our warehouse. You will handle order accuracy, QuickBooks entry, and customer confirmations, while working closely with our Logistics Manager to ensure smooth shipping operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to grow their skills in supply chain and sales operations.Key Responsibilities:Order Fulfillment: Take ownership of customer orders for an assigned account base from the moment they arrive. You will verify pricing and inventory, handle QuickBooks entry, and serve as the main point of contact for these customersensuring every detail is 100% correct before the order is handed off to the shipping floor.Logistics Coordination: Transition confirmed orders to the shipping department for fulfillment. Under the guidance of our Logistics Manager, you will manage straightforward or standard orders by calling carriers or using online portals to arrange product pickups and prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs).Note: Comprehensive training on our freight systems and carrier network will be provided.CUSMA Documentation Support: Execute cross-border shipping procedures for routine customer purchases. Working with our Customs Specialist, you will create Commercial Invoices and CUSMA documentation through our online portal to ensure timely delivery. Accounts Receivable Support: Monitor aging reports for a specific set of customers and conduct professional follow-ups on overdue accounts. Your primary focus will be ensuring invoices were correctly submitted and accurately align with customer purchase orders to promote timely payments and account accuracy. Delinquent accounts or collections are handled by other team members. Qualifications:Precision-Minded : Takes genuine ownership of the details. Whether it is a part number or a specific shipping instruction, they treat every order entry with a high level of care to ensure that what the customer ordered is exactly what they receive.Communication Excellence: Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills in English, essential for interacting professionally with a loyal customer base and freight carriers. This individual is capable of conveying complex order updates and logistical details clearly.Digital Competence: While QuickBooks experience is a plus, the candidate must be a confident user of various business software and online platforms. This includes proficiency in MS Word or Google Workspace, along with a 'best practices' approach to email and digital file organization. They should be adept at managing electronic recordsensuring all shipping, customs, and billing documents are accurately named, saved in the correct directories, and easily retrievable to maintain a seamless team workflow.Coachability: Eagerness to learn from our Logistics Manager and follow established shipping protocols.
