He/she will also be accountable for ensuring the timelydelivery of projects while upholding design quality and consistency.*We are looking for a skilled designer, with the role of Senior, or Lead depending on their experienceand expertise.Skills and Experience A portfolio showcasing web and mobile application design with a focus on creatinguser-friendly interfaces. At least 3 years of experience designing across multiple platforms (web, mobile, etc.). Proven experience in an applied research setting, integrating user research into productdesigns and practices. Strong ability to articulate design strategies, rationales, and logic, including highlightingrisks and benefits of design decisions. Expertise with design, prototyping, and research tools such as Figma andUserTesting.com. In-depth knowledge of interaction design theory, visual design principles, and bestpractices.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign Strategy Understand user interface patterns and behaviors to enhance user comprehension andimprove task efficiency. Use visualizations and interactions to support analytic thinking, particularly when workingwith large datasets. Lead design critiques, ensuring inclusivity in interactions, while providing expert adviceto cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Facilitate and lead ideation sessions and collaborative work activities to drive creativeand innovative solutions. Serve as the interaction design subject-matter expert, mentoring other designers andguiding the product design team.UI/UX Design Apply a thorough understanding of interaction design theory, visual design principles,and research data to inform and guide design decisions. Create low-fidelity sketches, wireframes, and prototypes to explore, communicate, andvalidate ideas. Develop detailed prototypes with clear specifications for development teams to execute. Present design solutions to senior stakeholders for feedback and approval, ensuringalignment with both business goals and user needs.Research and Testing Facilitate usability testing sessions to gather actionable feedback and iterate on designs. Lead or participate in research activities to inform design decisions and ensure solutionsare data-driven. Conduct competitive audits and research, particularly within the financial services sector,aligning outcomes with design and business objectives. Perform pattern, micro-interaction, and component design audits to ensure designconsistency and quality across all products.Nice to Have Strong understanding of research methods, including when and how to apply them atdifferent phases of the product development cycle. An appreciation for the role of Design Thinking in driving innovation and user-centricsolutions.
