The Paving Superintendent will oversee daily operations of paving projects, including managing schedules, ensuring quality control, and coordinating with crews and subcontractors. Responsibilities also include equipment allocation, monitoring project progress, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring budgets and timelines are met. The role requires frequent collaboration with project managers and field staff to achieve project goals efficiently. This role reports to the Paving Construction Manager. QualificationsProven experience in paving operations, site management, and construction processesStrong project management, planning, and organizational skillsKnowledge of safety regulations, environmental standards, and workplace safety protocolsAbility to lead and motivate teams, and manage subcontractors effectivelyExcellent verbal and written communication, as well as problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in project management software and other relevant toolsA post-secondary education in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is an assetValid drivers license and willingness to travel as needed
