Material Planner Location: Mississauga, ON Corporate Office Company: Mother Parkers Tea & Coffee Employment Type: Full-time, HybridMother Parkers Tea & Coffee is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Material Planner to join our Procurement team at our Mississauga Corporate Office. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating the delivery of raw materials to support manufacturing operations across multiple sites. You will play a critical role in ensuring optimal inventory levels, timely material availability, and effective communication across the supply chain.About the RoleReporting to the Procurement Manager, you will support material planning activities for multiple manufacturing facilities, including:Planning and scheduling raw material deliveries based on production requirementsMonitoring inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stockCoordinating with Supply Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing, and VendorsSupporting accurate inventory transactions and system integrityDriving continuous improvement across material planning processesKey ResponsibilitiesSchedule raw material deliveries, including green coffee, to manufacturing facilities based on production schedulesAnalyze production volumes and identify supply gaps in collaboration with Supply Planning and LogisticsManage customer-supplied raw material releases and vendor deliveriesMonitor inventory levels and adjust plans to balance service levels and inventory targetsGenerate transfer orders and prepare required documentation for multiple sitesPerform inventory reconciliation using ERP systems (D365 / I21)Monitor Bills of Lading and ensure daily shipment deliveries are completed as scheduledResolve material-related issues with manufacturing sites, 3PL partners, carriers, vendors, and Accounts Payable as requiredAttend daily production meetings to provide material availability updatesCoordinate sample requests for the R&D labManage daily error resolution related to material planning and inventory transactionsSupport continuous improvement initiatives and complete other assigned tasksQualificationsBachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)25 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, or supply chain operationsProficiency with ERP systems; D365 / I21 experience preferredStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and decision-making skills under time and supply constraintsCompensation & BenefitsMother Parkers Tea & Coffee offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support the well-being and long-term success of our employees, including:Expected base salary range: $65,000 $75,000 per year, based on knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equityComprehensive group benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverageEmployer-matched retirement savings programPaid vacation, personal days, and statutory holidaysEmployee and family assistance programLearning, development, and career growth opportunitiesA collaborative, inclusive workplace within a trusted Canadian organizationWhy Join Mother Parkers?You will have the opportunity to play a key role in supporting supply chain execution and manufacturing performance across multiple sites.
