Our platform transforms maintenance and downtime data into actionable insights used daily by maintenance, reliability, and operations teams at active mine sites.We work closely with customers across Canada and North America and are building analytics-driven tools to reduce downtime, improve execution, and support data-driven maintenance decision-making.Role OverviewWe are seeking a Maintenance & Reliability Engineer with a strong analytics focus to take ownership of the Power BI and reporting layer of TerraTraax.This role sits at the intersection of engineering judgment, maintenance and reliability concepts, and data analytics. You will work with real operational data from active mine sites and turn it into dashboards, KPIs, and insights that customers rely on to manage equipment performance.This role is ideal for an early-career to mid-level engineer who enjoys working with data, wants exposure to SaaS and industrial analytics, and is interested in growing into a senior Reliability, Analytics, or Product-focused role over time.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalytics & Power BI (Primary Focus)Own the design, development, and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reportsBuild and optimize data models, Power Query transformations, and DAX measuresWork with large maintenance and operational datasets (downtime, assets, work types, KPIs)Ensure analytics are accurate, performant, and aligned with real-world maintenance practicesMaintenance & Reliability ContextApply maintenance and reliability concepts such as availability, MTBF, MTTR, utilization, and downtime classificationValidate metrics and insights with maintenance and operations stakeholdersTranslate operational realities into clear, decision-ready KPIs and visualsProduct & Customer CollaborationSupport customer onboarding and ongoing analytics requestsCollaborate with product and development teams on analytics features and enhancementsContribute to customer case studies, benchmarks, and performance improvement narrativesQualificationsBachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent engineering discipline)Strong interest in maintenance, reliability, and performance analyticsExperience with Power BI, or demonstrated ability and motivation to learn it quicklyAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate technical concepts clearlyComfortable working independently in a fully remote environmentAssets (Nice-to-Have)Power BI experience (DAX, Power Query, data modeling)Experience with maintenance, reliability, or asset management dataExposure to mining, heavy equipment, manufacturing, or industrial operationsSQL, Python, or other data toolsBilingual (English / French)What We OfferCompetitive salary based on experienceFully remote work within CanadaDirect exposure to real operating mine sites and decision-makersSignificant ownership and responsibility early in your careerMentorship from experienced engineers and foundersA lean, ethical, and engineering-driven company culture
