Our Polish Corporate Governance Research team seeks to hire an analyst in Toronto, Canada for the spring annual shareholder meeting season, starting in February/March 2026 for a term ending in June 2026 (there could be some fluctuation in start and end dates).Each year, institutional investors such as mutual funds and pension funds vote on key governance issues at their portfolio companies. These include the election of directors, ratification of auditors, and votes on executive compensation plans, mergers, and financings. For over 40 years, Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) has been the leading provider of governance research to institutional investors, helping them assess governance risk in their portfolios and cast informed votes on these issues.**What youll do*** Analyze corporate governance practices of publicly listed companies* Collect and assess company disclosures and public data* Contribute to research reports and proxy voting recommendations for institutional investors* Work closely with experienced analysts on the Polish market**What were looking for*** Fluent English and Polish language skills* Bachelors or Masters degree (or in progress) in Law, Economics, Business, Finance, Political Science, or related fields* Strong analytical and numerical skills, with excellent written and verbal communication* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* A structured, organized, and detailoriented mindset* Prior relevant experience in finance, research, corporate governance and Polish markets are a plus**What youll gain*** Handson experience in corporate governance and responsible investment* Indepth training and exposure to global capital markets* Meaningful, clientimpacting work in a transparent and valuesdriven environment**Apply with your CV in English.****Additional Information*** **Work Schedule**: This role is fully onsite with five days in-office each week.* **Peak Season**: During peak season (late March to mid-April and mid-May to mid-June), overtime may be requested, which can include evenings or weekends.* **Payroll and Benefits**: The payroll provider for this position is through a third party, so ISS STOXX benefits are not applicable. Benefits may be available through the third-party provider after an eligibility period; please inquire for more details.**The Office**: Our Toronto office is located at 400 University Avenue, Suite 2000, in the heart of downtown and steps from major transit options. This central location provides an accessible and comfortable workspace for our team and visitors alike.**Compensation**: The pay range for this position in Toronto, Canada is 26.00 - 27.00 CAD per hour.
