Position Overview Compugen is currently hiring a Network Analyst for an initial 9month onsite contract. In this role, you will play a key part in the administration and implementation of LAN/WAN infrastructure, supporting both corporate and SCADA network environments. Your expertise will be essential to ensuring the stability and performance of critical network systems. Key Responsibilities Administer, implement, troubleshoot, and document the enterprise network to ensure continuous, efficient operations with comprehensive documentation. Develop strategic plans for network infrastructure evolution, aligning with business objectives and industry standards. Provide expertlevel support and engineering for all network devices to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Monitor network performance, proactively identify issues, and implement timely resolutions to maintain high availability. Lead disaster recovery planning, implementation, maintenance, and testing for network systems. Collaborate with corporate and field staff to address technical concerns, escalating complex issues when necessary. Apply firmware and hardware updates to network equipment in accordance with company protocols. Uphold system integrity through effective change control, problem management, and stakeholder communication. Stay current with emerging networking technologies, certifications, and industry trends. Support departmental goals by organizing workflows and promoting a collaborative team environment. Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures in all networkrelated activities. Actively participate in team meetings, contributing insights and technical expertise. Work crossfunctionally to design scalable, adaptable network solutions. Represent the Digital Technology & Security team with a focus on strategic alignment and operational excellence. Skills & Qualifications Proven expertise in SpineandLeaf data center architectures using VXLAN with BGP EVPN. Extensive experience designing, implementing, and maintaining routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF. Handson proficiency with Cisco networking equipment, including switches and routers. Indepth experience with Fortinet solutions, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points. Skilled in using Fortinet security tools such as FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiNAC. Demonstrated ability to configure and manage network resources in Microsoft Azure, including virtual networks, peering, route tables, Front Door, WAF, and network security groups. Additional experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Proficient in configuring and managing load balancers and web application firewalls. Strong understanding and application of network security best practices. Proven success in deploying network technologies as part of enterprise IT projects. Effective collaborator within crossfunctional project teams. Deep knowledge of enterprise networking and hybrid cloud integration. Experience with LTE and satellite communication technologies. Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and Change Management processes. Relevant experience supporting and operating SCADA network environments. Relevant job experience in North America. Mandatory Minimum of five (5) years of recent, handson experience in network administration, including network design and architecture. Possession of a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Drivers License (or equivalent). Must be available to work fulltime onsite in Regina, SK, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Willingness and ability to travel outside of Regina, including occasional overnight stays as required. Availability to participate in an oncall rotation, typically in oneweek intervals.
