Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Flooring Installer to join our team. As a Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for installing various types of flooring materials according to specifications and industry standards. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties: - Measure and cut flooring materials to fit designated areas - Prepare subfloors by removing existing flooring, leveling, and cleaning - Install flooring materials such as carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, or tile - Use hand tools and power tools to complete installation tasks - Apply adhesives, nails, staples, or other fasteners as needed - Ensure proper alignment and spacing of flooring materials - Trim excess material and finish edges as necessary - Inspect completed work for quality assurance - Clean up work area and remove debris after installation Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Flooring Installer or similar role - Strong knowledge of different types of flooring materials and installation techniques - Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for flooring installation - Ability to read blueprints and follow installation instructions - Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues during installation - Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as required - Good communication skills and ability to work well with others Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
