Job Summary: The Clinical Account Associate is responsible for driving adoption and growth of Medicure''s products as assigned, primarily within a hospital setting, presents clinical data, and provides medical information support in alignment with the goals of the Company. The position requires frequent travel to key hospital accounts and direct interaction with physicians, cath lab personnel, nursing staff, and hospital stakeholders. The Clinical Account Associate will be trained extensively on clinical data and is expected to engage in evidence-based scientific discussions while achieving commercial objectives. Responsibilities: Develop and execute territory plans in alignment with Company''s commercial goals. Prioritize engagements and territory activities toward high-impact hospital accounts that represent significant revenue potential, applying segmentation strategies to maximize efficiency and outcomes. Identify and develop professional relationships with key opinion leaders and advocates across interventional cardiology, pharmacy, and cath lab settings, encompassing both approved indications and relevant emerging applications of Medicure products. Articulate the value proposition, differentiation, and reliable manufacturer support of Medicure''s branded products in alignment with evidence, hospital needs, provider needs and patient care objectives. Monitor market dynamics, competitive activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy and execution. Report regularly on territory activity, customer engagement and account performance. Deliver in-depth clinical education to healthcare professionals on product use, mechanism of action, clinical data, and appropriate patient selection. Provide on-site support and education to cath lab and nursing staff as appropriate and compliant with company policy. Fulfill unsolicited requests, coordinate and deliver scientific and clinical information as presentations or other forms of scientific exchange to health care professionals. Maintains working and current knowledge of published medical literature, disease states and their treatments related to relevant Medicure products. Assists in the creation and maintenance of medical information materials, templates and training materials, ensuring that all information reflects the most current knowledge state. Regularly monitors & reviews clinical literature to identify publications relevant for either educational, marketing or pharmacovigilance needs. Supports commercial teams with medical and scientific expertise, and provides internal education and training as required. Represents Medicure at specific continuing educational events/programs, medical meetings and conferences. Carry out all duties and responsibilities in compliance with applicable regulations and Pharma guidelines. Requirements: M.Sc. or Ph.D. in life sciences. Ability to comprehensively learn about new subject areas. Strong interpersonal, writing, technical and presentation skills. Able to organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks under established deadlines. Work effectively both alone and in cross-functional teams. Comfortable with standard business software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Based in Winnipeg, Canada and can work in the Medicure office 8 am-5 pm. Valid driver''s license. Valid passport that permits travel to the U.S. Availability to travel up to 50% within U.S. as required.
