The expectedpay rate range for this position is $80/Hr - $90/Hr , depending on experience, skills, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation, including bonuses, commission (if applicable), and/or other incentives, as well as a comprehensive benefits package. Role Overview / Team Context: Reporting team focused on presenting data & insights to business stakeholders, executives, and occasionally external clients/executives High-visibility deliverables strong communication + visualization skills are critical Active parallel projects include: Migration from Databricks SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) Migration from SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) Fabric Current team: 10 FTEs + 13 Contractors Growth plan: Actively planning to hire 4-5 additional resources Core Technical Requirements (Must-Haves): Power BI development - strong hands-on experience Advanced DAX Power Query (M language) Databricks - solid practical experience SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) - development & deployment experience SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) - development & modeling experience Nice-to-Haves: Fabric - exposure or hands-on experience (especially relevant given active migration project) Interview Process: 2 rounds total Virtual Technical Screening - 45 minutes In-person Technical Round - 30 minutes (Toronto onsite) Key Takeaways: Looking for a very strong Power BI + Databricks profile Must be comfortable with legacy BI stack ( SSRS & SSAS ) due to ongoing migrations Fabric knowledge would be a strong differentiator Candidate should be prepared to discuss executive-facing reporting / dashboard delivery experience Action Items Prioritize candidates with recent Power BI + Databricks + SSRS/SSAS experience
