The successful candidate would join the Kitchener-based Express Employment Professionals office that is celebrating their 30 years in business. Express offers a full range of HR services to companies including temporary staffing, direct hire, professional staffing and HR advisory services. Hours of work are Monday Friday, 7:45 am 5 pm. The qualified candidate(s) has the below requirements/experience: Thrive in a fast-paced environment; proven ability to multitask, and prioritize Positive, friendly, and upbeat attitude Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and listening Recruitment and sales experience is a must Developing relationships, problem solving and leadership skills High school diploma/GED, Post-secondary degree/diploma is an asset Overview of Opportunity: The Employment Specialist plays a critical role as the link between client companies and associates and having the responsibility of meeting the expectations of both. Generation and expansion of our business with existing and new accounts is vital in this position. This role requires recruiting, interviews, orientations and assigning associates to both permanent and contract roles. The Employment Specialist will assist in growing our business by providing excellent customer service as well as inside sales and marketing strategies. Below describes what the position entails: Recruitment through qualifying candidates, booking and completing interviews, providing orientations Referencing, testing, assigning, supervising and coaching new associates Respond to calls from applicants, candidates, clients and prospects Proactively call clients and prospects to determine current or future staffing requirements and matching those requests to available associates and candidates Assist outside sales representatives to increase sales Good keyboarding skills (40+ WPM) and with a variety of computer experience applications including MS Office Employment Specialist Details: Competitive compensation package (base salary plus incentive bonus) commensurate with experience and ability to deliver results Hours: Monday - Friday 7:45 am - 5:00 pm Must have own reliable transportation 100% on site in the office Occasional work on Saturdays will be required (Annual Sales Conference) Express was founded in 1983 and began franchising in 1985.
