As a member of the creative team, your key responsibilities are to support Senior Copywriters, while working alongside Graphic Designers, Videographers and Editors, and Performance Marketers to deliver a wide variety of compelling concepts and copy. Who you are You have a mastery of being succinct and have an eye for detail. You understand and can deliver on the tone of a premium brand. You''re nimble, comfortable working through ambiguity and love working with others to refine your work. You craft ideas and effective copy that makes people think differently and act. Duties and Responsibilities Create copy in a fast-paced environment with a high-volume workload that often require short turnarounds. Partner with the Senior Copywriter to develop exceptional creative work. Present concepts internally, and take part in copy-led discussions with confidence. Actively address feedbackboth written and verbaland maintain ongoing collaboration with the creative and account teams through each project. Understand and implement data-driven copy practices. Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging. Qualifications Bachelor''s degree in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline. 0-3 years copywriting experience with solid portfolio of work. Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines. Excellent organizational skills and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Preferred skills Experience writing website/UI copy, detailed product descriptions and benefits, technical or retail copywriting. May have experience writing for telecom/consumer electronics, automotive, FI, legal or medical categories. Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides is a must. Experience on a premium global brand is a plus. Experience working with JIRA and AI tools a plus. What Happens After You Apply Application review: Our Human Resources Manager reviews every resume. We thank you for your patience Salary range: $55,000 - $60,000 CAD annually Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate''s relevant work experience, skills, and certifications Work Arrangement: This role is a fixed-term contract for a period of one (1) year, with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance. While this position follows a hybrid work model, with three (3) days in-office (Tuesday through Thursday) and two (2) days work-from-home (Monday and Friday), during business requirements, needs, client deadlines, you may be required to be in office on all 5 days.
