Position: Daytime Commercial Cleaner Position Summary The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout the buildings, including entryways, washrooms, stairwells, office spaces, and common areas. This role ensures high standards of cleanliness and sanitation are consistently met. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality cleaning services, including but not limited to washing, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, emptying waste receptacles, and polishing surfaces. Daily Responsibilities Clean, sanitize, and maintain washrooms Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and stairwells in common areas Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal Dust, wipe, and disinfect surfaces, fixtures, and touchpoints Clean/polish glass regularly Restock supplies daily Launder rags and mop heads daily Water building plants Identify and report maintenance or repair issues to management promptly Follow safe work practices and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment Light yard work such as pulling weeds and picking up trash around the buildings during summer months Qualifications Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and strong time management while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals, and proper handling procedures Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift supplies, and remain on feet for extended periods Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $20.00 per hour Benefits: Dental care Employee assistance program Extended health care Life insurance On-site parking Paid time off Work Location: In person
