Lynch Fluid Controls Inc. is a manufacturer of high-quality fluid power components located in Mississauga, Ontario. We were established in 1987 and have been gaining recognition in many countries as a source of fluid power products. From our home in Mississauga, we design, manufacture and export hydraulic manifolds, valve systems, electronics and a growing selection of products that have been created by our first-class team. Our exclusive distribution arrangement with Sun Hydraulics has been the backbone in our manifold manufacturing division. We have been able to take cartridge valve integration to a new level and are now suppliers to many well recognized fluid power establishments and OEMs. We now routinely design manifolds for the world market, that interface with many manufacturers, fluids, materials, and applications. We are currently looking for a Quality Inspection Technician to join our dynamic team. If you are a positive and driven individual with a passion for quality and a desire to make a positive impact on the success of our company, then we want to hear from you JOB SUMMARY: The function of the Quality Inspection Technician is to verify that the machining, deburring & overall quality of custom products meet all applicable quality standards, in preparation for assembly and packaging. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform quality inspection procedures on machined parts, including deburr, palm sanding, dimensional measurements, pass/fail inspections, cleanliness inspection, and fit & finish Perform in-house gauge calibration or send out for calibration at vendor Perform dimensional measurements with applicable gauges and CMM Report deviations from specifications & tolerances to Quality Team Complete and maintain inspection reports as stipulated on the Production Order Respect and adhere to all procedures as per company by-laws Perform and prioritize multiple tasks and respond appropriately to constant changes in priorities Responsible for following all established Quality & ISO standards and procedures ACADEMIC/EDUCATIONAL REQUIRMENTS: College or university education in a technical discipline Education in Quality Management an asset REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Must have prior experience in metal manufacturing industry, including use of basic measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, etc) Must possess good vision (corrected or uncorrected) Good manual dexterity required in working with hand tools Good written and spoken communication skills Ability to read drawings and diagrams Ability to lift medium to heavy loads Must meet requirements of Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) Experience with use of CMM equipment Experience working in an ISO environment is an asset Experience in hydraulics and/or design engineering is an asset Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central and Office 365 are an asset Must meet requirements of Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) ****** PLEASE SEND YOUR RESUME IN PDF FORMAT ONLY. *THIS POSITION IS A CURRENT VACANCY IN THE ORGANIZATION.
