Job Summary: We are seeking detail-oriented and organized professionals to join our growing team within the VERY FAST PACED legal environment. Duties include providing support to our various large law firm, financial services providers and government clients within the legal space. Duties include administrative tasks, document management, financial recordkeeping, coordination between our clients and our process server team. The ideal candidate will have experience and a proven record in managing multiple tasks, taking initiative in providing and meeting the needs of client requests, strong problem solving skills, the ability to accept feedback and adapt (coachable), and a take the bulls by the horn attitude. Experience in legal support may be an asset but is not necessary. We are looking for the right attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to a very fast past environment. Administrative work and basic QuickBooks accounting (an asset but not mandatory), excellent computer skills in Microsoft office are very important. You MUST have the ability to type at a speed of 55 words per minute minimum or greater. This is a fast and dynamic work environment with a leading team of goal oriented professionals. Our expectation is that you can work independently and have the skills to know when to ask for clarity without making assumptions. Key Responsibilities: Litigation Support Specialist: Strong Affidavits Drafting Skills can be an asset but concise writing skills are required Litigation experience, Superior Court and Small Claims can be an asset Knowledge of Family Law can be an asset Set-up Instruction worksheets Monitor strict deadlines are extremely important Review files The ability to work independently Strong problem-solving skills Exceptional customer services skills Organization and multitasking skills Update clients on file progress via email and system Online filings Type at a speed of at least 55 words per minute (WPM) to ensure efficiency in document handling Administrative Tasks: Scan, organize, and file documents systematically. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a law office or legal setting (litigation) and administrative is an asset. Associate''s degree or certification in business administration, paralegal studies, or accounting/finance is an asset. Knowledge of bookkeeping practices and financial reporting.
