Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in residential or commercial spaces, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong time management, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of French is a plus. Experience in cleaning, laundry, and hospitality will be advantageous. The Cleaner plays a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for clients by providing exceptional cleaning services with professionalism and care. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothes and linens Prepare spaces for clients by organizing and tidying up rooms as needed Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and stored properly Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and preferences Uphold high standards of cleanliness while adhering to health and safety guidelines Assist with light cooking or meal preparation if required by clients in hospitality settings Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, respectful, and attentive to client requests Requirements Fluency in English; proficiency in French is a plus Prior experience in residential cleaning or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of cleaning duties Good communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and safety procedures Reliable transportation or access to transportation is preferred for flexible scheduling or travel between locations This position offers an opportunity to contribute to creating clean, comfortable environments for our clients while developing valuable skills in the cleaning and hospitality industry.
